Come and chat to Ted during his Winter Road Trip

As we enter Step 3 – the final easing of restrictions for some time – I want to personally thank everyone in Fairfax for embracing social distancing and increasing hand hygiene. People with coughs or colds are also voluntarily getting tested, so again thank you!

Step 3 has been dubbed the ‘new normal’ for Queenslanders. It means day-to-day activities can largely return to normal while we continue to use the social distancing and hygiene practices we’ve become accustomed to.

The mobile office team and myself will be out and about across Fairfax during the week of 13 July 2020 during my Winter Road Trip.

I’m keen to hear people’s ideas for future government support and in particular I want to talk with people about ways the Sunshine Coast can best navigate a post-COVID recovery.

I know people will want to talk about the coronavirus and how they’ve been affected, the Federal Government’s response, border closures and what a COVID safe future will look like.

Many businesses are still struggling and there are still people out of work. Others are forging a path forward and doing what they can to embrace the ‘new normal’.

Call by for a chat when I’m in your area or feel free to contact my office anytime.
